Bernardo Silva still has Christmas tree up and hints it brought Manchester City good luck in treble season

Sportsmen and women are notoriously superstitious and it would appear Bernardo Silva is no different.


The Manchester City winger helped his club to a domestic treble this season, which was completed in a 6-0 thrashing of Watford in last Saturday’s FA Cup final.

Silva himself had a spectacular season with 13 goals and eight assists and was also named in the team of the season.


And the 24-year-old revealed on Instagram he still has his Christmas tree up six months on from the holiday, suggesting it brought him and his team-mates fortune.



Tis truly has been a season to be jolly and the player captioned his post: “Bad luck?? It’s staying up!!!”
